NumeroUno Academy of Banking & International Business (NABIB), was created out of a deep-rooted passion to train and transform potential aspirants of the Academic & Corporate world. All through the 25 plus years of individual Corporate journey by the Founders of NABIB, a lot of gaps in the areas of Skilling and Up-skilling were glaringly noticed, both in the initial Academic arena and subsequently when a student enters the Corporate world to make a career for himself..

NABIB was conceptualised as a One-stop solution in the Training & Skill Development space and in the 10 years since inception, has evolved into a company of International repute, offering specialised and customised training programs across geographies of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Oman and UAE.. Founder & CEO

Having a rich and varied experience with different banks like State Bank of India, IDBI Bank, ICICI Bank and Barclays Bank, K Subramanian decided to quit banking in May 2010 and formed a universal knowledge and consultancy platform – NumeroUno!

It is his vision to provide Consultancy services on areas such as Financial requirements, Entrepreneurship, International Business & Trade Finance, for companies in India and overseas, agnostic of Industry to which they pertain to. He is also a visiting Faculty and Trainer to more than 50 Organisations / Colleges across India & Middle East. He has trained more than 10,000 participants in the last 10 years and counting!

Ms. Cassandra Pillai

Partner & Director

Ms. Pillai, a seasoned banker of over 25 years, having worked with leading PSU and PVT Sector Banks, including State Bank and ICICI Bank, has spent most of her career in the niche areas of Trade Finance and International Business. She is now a key stakeholder in the overall objective of ensuring the positive growth trajectory of NumeroUno.

For nearly a decade, she was instrumental in growing various Business verticals of ICICI Bank across Gujrat, handling a variety of roles ranging from team building, new product development, transaction monitoring to overall sales. After coming onboard NumeroUno, Ms.Pillai has channelled that expertise towards creation of newer Associations particularly in the Training and Recruitment space.

With her penchant for creative ideas, she is now the overall in-charge of all the new associations and partnerships that NumeroUno initiates.

Cassandra Pillai

A seasoned banker of over 25 years, heads the entire Training Vertical at NumeroUno having worked with leading PSU and Pvt Sector Banks, including State Bank and ICICI Bank. She has spent most of her career in the niche areas of Trade Finance & Forex. Post her Corporate stint, she is now one of the most sought-after Trainers on Functional and non-Functional areas for the past many years. Her penchant for non-functional areas in the Corporate sector has also ensured that she is able to seamlessly transition from Colleges and Corporates wherever the Training requirements beckon her.

Clint Xavier

A dynamic ex-Banker, holding a Business Management Degree with specialization in International Business and having an experience of more than 12 Years in the corporate sector, has contributed both in handling the Liabilities as well as Asset Business in the SME space. The area of his interest being BFSI, International Trade and Forex, he has been exposed with different kinds of Transaction and advisory services. He is presently associated with various training initiatives at NumeroUno..

Ramesh Rao

An accomplished banker with experience of 32 years spread across a Nationalised & Private Sector Banks, has extensive knowledge in Banking and FinancialMarkets. A passionate trainer and mentor for the participants, Ramesh Rao is a post graduate in Commerce and a certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He is also a certified Trainer from Indian Academy of Training and Development

GA Venkatesan

G A Venkatesan, an Engineer, with a career spanning 34 years in the Automobile Industry, has spent the major part of his life with Hero MotoCorp. His expertise lies in areas like Quality control, Purchases & Supply Chain Management. He has been instrumental in the success of various critical cost-saving projects for the company and is now an Advisor and Mentor in his areas of specialization.

He has been instrumental in implementation of key areas of Operational Change Management for our Clients in the manufacturing sector, after quitting his long and rewarding career

Vidyut Bhatt

An accomplished veteran having more than 22 years of experience in the Corporate world, and now a Trainer on Soft-skills for various companies in the Service industry. He is a perfectionist during his programs and takes great pride in leveraging on his patience and approach-ability when interacting with participants.

Hemanth Kumar

Hemanth Kumar ,a young and dynamic Trainer, who has found his new calling in Training since leaving the Corporate world after a stint of more than 11 years, across the BFSI space. His penchant of making learning simple and full of real-life examples, endears him to the participants across all types of programs.

Trevor Michael

After a long Corporate stint of nearly 30 years, focused on Corporate Communication
and Organizing, Trevor Michael is now comfortably settled into his new role as a
Language Trainer in English, where he teaches students and working professionals on
the nuances of English Communication. His students range from India across 5 other
countries.

Sarwan Singh

A seasoned Corporate professional for over 30 years, Mr. Sarwan Singh is now Corporate trainer specializing in English Communication and Public speaking. He has a passion for shaping young minds and leaves no stone unturned to ensure that all his training programs end up looking like a get-together of sorts. That’s the secret behind the
success of his programs.

Kavita Chandarana

A core Finance professional, Kavita has behind her, a professional career of more than 10 years in the Stock Broking industry and has worked in Risk and Relationship Management capacities. She has a strong understanding of the markets and is now also an active Trainer on all related topics in the BFSI sector.

Beenoo Mukhi

Beenoo Mukhi left her Corporate profile after 10 years in the BFSI sector where she was a successful Sales & Relationship professional…Post her Corporate stint, Beenoo is now a Trainer for Colleges and BFSI companies on Functional and non-Functional topics. Her affability and easy going nature as a Trainer endears her to all her participants.

Parth Kamdar

A Finance Professional on the investment side, Parth Kamdar is extremely knowledgeable on Portfolio risk analysis and research. He is also a visiting faculty to educational institutions and a Trainer on Asset Management.

Arun Chaubey

An NISM empaneled trainer, Arun Chaubey is a Corporate Professional with over 14 years in Securities and Broking across various organisations. After quitting the Corporate world, he is now a Trainer on topics in his core domain areas – Equity, Derivatives, Mutual funds & Securities Operations..

Lakshmi Rampal

A career English Language Trainer, Lakshmi Rampal has spent more than 14 years in
training students and potential immigration aspirants on IELTS preparation and also on
other Communication skills. She also has an aptitude for identifying the exact Soft skill
missing in a student and ensures the relevant up-skilling with appropriate intervention.

M. Sethuraman

M. Sethuraman, a veteran banker of over 30 years banking experience with Vysya Bank, is our chief architect for developing the different type of content required for the various training programs that we conduct for our Training assignments and at various outside platforms. He has spent most of his career in the specialised domain of Trade Finance and has been involved in various profiles and projects in the bank in this space.

He has been a single point of contact for our clients on Query resolution, Documentation verification issues, Discrepancy resolutions, to name a few.

Being the sole Trainers on Trade Finance for the leading Training Company in India, across banks and across countries.
The first and most prolific Trainers, to actively Advise and Train Bankers in India on Trade Based Money Laundering continuously for the last 6 years….
Successfully completed a 3-day program on Advanced Trade Finance for participants from banks in Sri Lanka, conducted at the Bank of Ceylon Head Office building
Executed 2 Induction program projects for Kotak Bank, first in the F.Y 17-18 and then in F.Y. 19-20 – an exhaustive program for new joinees, encompassing the End to End of Banking
Under the Omanization program of Govt. of Oman, a comprehensive training module for Bank Dhofar spread over 4 months, encompassing the entire Banking curriculum ranging from General Banking, Trade Finance, Credit, Foreign Exchange, Islamic Banking, Risk Management etc. in the year 2018-19
Similar Short-term Banking module for Ahli Bank, under the Omanization program, which covered most of the aspects of Banking in the year 2018
Yet another program for Ahli Bank in Feb 2020, covering all the aspects of banking for fresh graduates hired by the bank.
